Nikolas Kallithrakas (26) was born in Athens, Greece.  He is a professional drummer based in Manchester, U.K. 

 

From young age, he dedicated himself to continuously improving his music skills and by the age of 18, he had graduated  from the National Conservatory of Athens, had completed his Rockschool Grade 8 exams, with Distinction, and had been awarded 4 Drumming scholarships (National Conservatory of Athens, University of Salford). From 2017 to 2020, Nikolas studied and completed his Bachelor's degree with Honours in Popular Music & Recording. 

 

Nikolas has a rich experience of live performances and genres and has collaborated with several well-known artists and orchestras,  as a session drummer.

 Since 2012, he has taken to the stage at a wide range of gigs, festivals and Musicals including, :

- "Grease the Musical"

- The ROYAL EDINBURGH MILITARY TATTOO 

- The Big Pants Party 

 His main project now goes by the name of Honey Bee Jazz, a jazz quartet based in Manchester which recreates pop songs into swing jazz, Bossa Nova and latin arrangements.

Honey Bee Jazz have performed for clients such as:

- New Balance

- British Airways

- Dunelm

- University of Salford
